Lily, thank you for meeting me today. I imagine our conversation was positive and negative. I’m obviously wanting to work, and despite the positions you have in Toronto not being what I applied for, I also am intrigued by the restaurant and would be willing to try something new while I figure out my action plan. If I haven’t said anything to diswarrant myself, let me know if you’d consider taking me on part-time as a cook. I could get you through a short-term hurdle as students return to school and I get my necessary qualifications and footing.
